About the Board:
The VWOA Board is composed of 3 to 5 resident homeowners. Board members are elected by the owners at the annual meeting of homeowners, but interim vacancies may be filled by the Board.
Board Meetings
The Board of Directors meets monthly, usually on the third Thursday in the evening in the Association office. Meetings are open to all residents. To formally address the Board with an issue or concern, interested persons should call 679-8761 no later than close-of-business the previous Friday to be placed on the agenda.

Anyone (i.e., owner, resident, or other interested party), is invited to address the Board at the monthly meeting. Meetings are open to the entire community.
The Board typically addresses:
- management concerns
- residents' issues
- community improvement
- common property maintenance
- financial standing of the Association
- committee activities

OBJECTIVES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
- Provide the democratic leadership needed to bring divergent opinions to a consensus,
- Create the most productive committee structure with clear objectives and direction;
- Establish effective communications between and among members with a channel for feedback and complaints;
- Allow for open meetings with a pre-announced agenda;
- Operate the business elements of the Association with sound business judgment using informed guidance;
- Establish a procedure to constantly update and improve the community;
- Act with statesmanship rather than from personal bias when dealing with the affairs of the
Association.
