Volunteers and Committees
Volunteers are a key component of the success of the Villages of Westcreek Owners Association. Volunteering can be rewarding by knowing that your efforts make a difference in our community. When you share your unique talents and expertise as a Board member, serve on one of our various committees, or help with any of our many community events, you help us build a better family-centered community. Also, by volunteering, you help us keep costs down, which enables us to do more for our members. Our Volunteers are the “heartbeat” of the Villages of Westcreek.

Architectural Review Committee
Committee Chair – Tracy McMahan

Responsibility: The Architectural Review Committee reviews and acts upon applications, plans, requests, and other matters submitted pursuant to the Association's governing documents and applicable architectural standards.
How to Join: Committee members are appointed by the Board of Directors in accordance with the CC&Rs.

Beautification Committee
Committee Chair – Lisa Dinoir
Responsibility: The Beautification Committee advises and assists the Board in identifying opportunities to enhance the appearance and enjoyment of VWOA common areas and community facilities. The Committee may make recommendations regarding landscaping, plantings, seasonal decorations, beautification projects, and other community enhancements.
Meeting Schedule: Meetings are open to all homeowners. Meeting dates and times will be posted on the Association website calendar and included in the weekly community email.
How to Join: Homeowners interested in serving may attend a committee meeting or contact the Association office for information about becoming involved.
Communications Committee
Committee Chair – Barbara Lee

Responsibility: The Communications Committee advises and assists the Board in developing and maintaining effective communication between the Association and its members.
Meeting Schedule: 1st Wednesday of each month at 1:00 PM in the Community Center Hall. Meetings are open to all homeowners. If the meeting falls on a holiday, it will be moved to the following day of that week.
Meeting Notices: Posted on the Association website calendar and included in the weekly community email.
Finance Committee
Committee Chair – Myra Salem, Treasurer
Responsibility: The Finance Committee assists the Treasurer with budget preparation and provides information and recommendations regarding the Association's financial operations and fiscal planning.
Meeting Schedule: Meeting dates and times are posted on the Association website calendar and included in the weekly community email.
How to Join: Homeowners interested in serving may contact the Association office with their name and contact information and maintain regular meeting attendance. All adult family members may attend and participate in discussion; however, only one member per household may vote on committee decisions.
More Information: The Committee operates in accordance with the VWOA By-Laws and applicable Administrative Resolutions.
Nominations Committee
2027 Committee – To Be Appointed
Responsibility: The Nominations Committee performs the duties assigned to it under the Association's By-Laws in connection with the annual election of the Board of Directors.
Meeting Schedule: Once appointed, meetings will be open to all homeowners. Meeting notices will be posted on the Association website calendar and included in the weekly community email.
How to Join: The Board of Directors appoints the Nominations Committee in accordance with the Association By-Laws. Homeowners interested in serving may contact the Association office or watch for announcements requesting volunteers.
Suggestion and Recommendations Committee
Committee Chair – VACANT
This Committee replaces the Sports Park Committee, Landscape Committee, and Public Safety Committee.
Committee’s Responsibility: The Suggestions & Recommendations Committee advises and assists the Board in identifying and prioritizing current and future needs of the Association's common areas. The Committee may evaluate projects, provide recommendations, assist with approved plans, and consider community needs in relation to the Association's budget and Reserve Study.
Meeting Schedule: Meetings are open to all homeowners and are posted on the Association website calendar.
How to Join: Homeowners may join by attending two of three consecutive meetings and continuing to participate regularly.
